Updates!

Hammin' it up! Dandy has started making faces at the camera now when you try to take his picture. Here are a few of his latest!

A Baby Shower! Janelle and Mom Hardy threw a surprise Birthday Brunch/Baby Shower for me. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of nice things. At least now Jaonna will have something to wear when she is born!! Thank you Janelle and Mom!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow! We got 20 inches last week-end and are expecting another foot this weekend. Since I grew up in Tennessee, (with NO snow) I am loving it! (At least for now.)

First Haircut!

Mommy misses his curl!
He did very good - he didn't cry at all!

Its a Girl!

We had an ultrasound on Dandy's birthday and found out that we are having a girl! We are very excited! The pregnancy is going well -- my blood pressure is a little high, but I have chronic hypertension when I'm pregnant, so they're just keeping an eye on it. The due date is still January 25!

First Birthday!

I apologize that this post is so backwards and confusing. I haven't figured out how to get all the pictures in order! Aaagh! Anyhow, if you can bear confusing, please continue!

Well, here I am after too many weeks of not posting! We have been very busy, so I haven't had time to get to a computer. Anyway, Dandy's first birthday was on September 26. Its so hard to believe he is one already! Where did the time go? I'm amazed when I remember how helpless he was one year ago compared to how independent he is now. They grow so fast in their first year! Here are some pictures from his birthday - we had homedade pizza and chips and dip. (Dandy had pizza crust and cheese curls!)

The table (their were lots of streamers, ect... decorating the ceiling, but we failed to get pictures!)

Missionary Visit

This morning the Hartmans (from Haiti) were with us for the morning service. There were 30 people there and we had a great service. Dandy enjoyed playing with Stevie (almost 2) and he even got to hold Baby Brian (almost 5 months).

New Car Seat

Since Dandy is almost one, it was time to switch his carseat. We found a $100 car seat at a salvage store for $30! It is in perfect condition, and Dandy LOVES it! He smiles and laughs -- he thinks he's a pretty big boy now!

Joe & Janelle are Here!

We have been waiting and waiting for the day that Joe & Janelle arrived in Falconer to stay! They arrived last Thursday and we are so happy to have them here!

Grandma Kiffer's Birthday

Labor Day was also Grandma Kiffer's birthday, so we went to Mom and Dad Hardy's and had a cook-out. I made Grandma a German Chocolate Cake. We had a lot of fun -- and Dandy was in his element with all the people ooohing and aaahing over him!

Playing the guitar

Dandy decided that he wants to play the bass like Daddy! (He put his hands in just the right positions, too)

Freezing Corn

Someone in our church gave us two rows of corn from their garden, so we put up 35 quart bags of corn. I had never done anything like that before, but I really enjoyed it. I don't usually like corn, but this was pretty tasty!! As you can see, even Dandy got in on the action!

Pictures from Stoneboro

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get pictures up, but hopefully I will make up for it!

Stoneboro Camp

We have spent the last several days at Stoneboro Camp. The Lord has been helping in the services and we have been having a great time. We came home for the weekend so we could be at our church for the week-end, but we are going back tomorrow. Dandy has been super good -- for which I am thankful. Of course, Grandma is there so I don't have to worry about him very much! I'll try to post pictures later!

Time with Darin, Carol, & Colton

Darin, Carol, & Colton were able to fly in from California for a visit. It was so nice to be able to see them again before they head to Japan! We went on a picnic with Grandpa & Grandma Kiffer, and everyone had fun playing in the water! We also celebrated Colton's first birthday a week or two early. Grandma Hardy made him birthday pancakes! Yummy!
